Tattoo artists outraged with TLC network...
I am proud of our tattoo industry and the way true talent and artistry brought to the game and changing the stereotypes from hookers sailors and bikers.It has been alot of morals that have been placed into our industry to show the world that tattoos dont make a person bad its the heart.
What is on our skin does not make us bad people.
Ok so Reality tattoo shows got hot for a minute then they filled all the slow boring times with juiced up drama to try to play into the "outcasts" stereotype.
Many shows try to keep the negativity going and use us as puppets to show the world," look they are wierd and trouble." When all along it is thier ideas to add the dirt and trash. So now that I have explained the effects of these reality shows there up pops the ugliest monster .
TATTOO SCHOOL????????
Tattoo School is a new show airing on TLC July 14, 2011 at 9pm. Which teaches people to Tattoo in 2 weeks. This is a Disgrace, Insult and Insane idea to promote. The only way to get TLC to listen to Us Artist and Collectors views is to Unite by Boycotting the Show and Any Advertisers of the Show. Hitting their pocket books is what they Hear Loud and Clear!

2 weeks to learn how to learn to DRAW,Bloodborne Pathogens,sterilization, there are such things as BBP, HIV, Hep, Staphs, MRSA, VRSA and much more and we ask them if they like the idea of their products and services being placed within a framework that ignores all precautions and education regarding these things?
Do they realize every infected tattoo someone gets TLC will be sued!!!!!!!
This broadcast will only serve the young generation to feel it is that easy to do and go about it in unprofessional ways and standards.Tattoo apprenticeships are in place just like any other apprentice and this violates the proper training in the art of tattooing.

Professional advice about tattooing and your next tattoo...
Often clients have not put alot of thought into the design process and many years of being attached to an image every day tends to deserve more thought and consideration as the statistics show a huge increase of covered up tattoos.
We all make mistakes on our skin so if you are in this boat dont feel alone!
Today laser surgery can be applied to darker tattoos and lighten them enough that you dont have to settle for a big black blob of something ,we will call it tribal...
Ok once you cover it with tribal and you wear out that idea there is nothing to do with it hardly now except lighten it with a laser surgery session or 3.
So the point being think about your original design and read and do research and find the perfect piece of art that will be a fine memory for you many years when you see it.
All tattoos do not have to mean something ,lets get this straight.
IN FACT alot of the people I know personally are just art collectors seeking out collections for their skin.

Arian Foster gets tattooed at The Famous Texas Body Art by Johnny Jackson
Arian Foster pays Johnny Jackson a visit at Houstons Top tattoo studio this past week so I decided to share the whole story.
As I have been tattooing on the Texans for awhile now the list is steadily growing
Glover Quinn was the first player to find me and set up an appointment.Slowly after a few others made their way out to Jones Road at Texas Body Art to see me including Owen Daniels,Fred Bennett, Steve Slaton and the latest was this week after tattooing Slaton and MS. Slaton I recieve a call from Arian Foster to set up an appointment.I feel very honored to be creating my art on our team! Arian is a big music fan and wanted to express it with his own image he brought to me.
